Los angeles….city of angels…..before I got here, I had some idea on LA……..I quickly realised that LA has a lot of cities on a very large area….so you basically have to drive 20 km to another suburb….without a car, you do not have a chance to get around here…
Fortunately, my friend Davey from Tarifa, who is originally from LA…., picked me up in downtown…..we took about 50 minutes to 1 hour to get to his house in San Diego….it was super nice to see him again after several years….last time we met in Tarifa few years ago…
In the evening we went to visit my other friend from Slovenia…Katja – singer. who lives in LA…musical evening with her friends (andrea lisa – jazz guitarist & taylor bass guitar)….I stayed at Katja’s house for 4 days and we drove through the LA…all parts of Hollywood….to Malibu…Palm springs….Santa Monica…..etc…we visited singer Cher for a tea…but unfortunately she was not home…so we headed to a birthday party of many great musicians…..drummers…bass players for famous pop & rock stars…chill private party…cannot complain 🙂
One great thing about California is that green is everywhere….and candy…..so it was quite nice to share some pure oil – pipe of peace 🙂
