….Here we go again…my beautiful van broke down again….hhahaha….it’s just unbelievable……when you think enough is enough…..it just keeps coming…..somehow…this time it broke down right in front of the gate to the parking lot in the shopping area in Montpellier…the most inconvenient place imaginable…..because none of the cars to the mall could get through….what a great feeling that is…
Somehow a couple of people helped me push the car aside a bit….to make room for others……our first impression was that it was the car’s battery…..so I ran to the mall and bought a new battery…….that did not help…..something else was wrong…
We pushed the car another 100 meters to the parking lot next to McDonalds…..it was Thursday……..around 2pm….so the car mechanics were not working…the next day was a national vacation…and it was the weekend…..so I will not be able to know what’s wrong with the car until Monday morning…..so here begins a long wait…
I managed to shower at a nearby gym ….tnx to the friendly folks who work there……it was quite an experience, I’d say….
On Monday we somehow managed to get a van to the mechanic 4 km away……which was no easy task…since we had to pull the van…..the next day I was told that the gas pump was broken……so I had to wait a few more days to get a new one…
All in all, I waited 8 days…..that’s life….sometimes you have to bite into lemons that are really bitter…but as long as you come out unscathed and alive…..everything is an experience…..keep smiling and never give up
