Nestled in the heart of Bavaria, Germany, lies the enchanting town of Regensburg. Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting my dear friend Margot, who said that Regensburg is arguably one of the best cities in Germany. Trusting her judgment, I embarked on a journey to discover the wonders of this hidden gem.

The beaches along the Danube River are delightful attraction in Regensburg. They provide the perfect setting for a relaxing day by the water. Whether you’re sunbathing, swimming, or simply enjoying the breathtaking views of the river, the beaches of Regensburg are a true oasis.
As the day draws to a close, Regensburg’s vibrant bar scene comes alive. It’s hard to believe as bavarians are known for not drinking at all 😉 that this idyllic town also offers a lively nightlife with a variety of bars where you can unwind and savor a refreshing non alcoholic beer 😉 The locals’ passion for craft brews is evident in the wide selection available, ensuring that even the most discerning beer connoisseurs will find their perfect pint.
Regensburg truly captures the essence of Bavarian charm, with its natural beauty, welcoming locals, and rich history. From exploring the town’s medieval architecture to indulging in the local cuisine, my last 2 weeks every moment spent here feels like stepping into a german fairytale 😉
